Guided Duck Hunting in Arkansas

Guided Duck Hunting in Arkansas

June 12, 2013 by

After many spring seasons chasing Snow Geese in NE Arkansas Premier Flight is happy to announce we will be providing guided duck hunts in Arkansas starting in fall 2013.  We have partnered up with local duck hunting guide Hunter Johnson to finally get you on all those ducks that have been buzzing the snow goose spread each spring!  Duck hunting in Arkansas is best done with a duck hunting guide since competition for land is high and there is minimal freelance opportunities unlike much of the north country.

If you are looking for a duck hunting guide service and don’t know where to go Arkansas is the spot to be.  Arkansas is home to millions of wintering ducks, Snows, and White Fronts.  Our area in NE Arkansas is a major staging area in the winter for the ducks and for good reason, lots of water and food!  There are 3 major rivers in our area and this is a major rice producing area which the ducks love!  All our hunts come with lodging at a duck camp and we can accommodate any sized group.  This is a unique experience for many who are not from the area and time at camp can be for many the most enjoyable part of the hunt.

About the Arkansas Duck Hunts:

  • Duck Hunting – All our hunts start as morning hunts and end by noon, if the hunting was slow for any number of reasons the guide will make the call to hunt the afternoon at no additional charge.  Our goal is to get you on the ducks!
  • Speck Hunting – If you had a great morning duck hunt what better way to cap off the day than to hit the field in the afternoon to chase some White Fronts?  They laugh at you all spring long in the Snow Goose Spread, now it is time for some payback!

Arkansas duck hunting is a great way for northern hunters to hide from the snow and the cold and extend their season.  It is also an unique opportunity for hunters from all over the country to hunt an area known worldwide for its ducks and something every waterfowl hunter should encounter.  I look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you might have on Arkansas duck hunting.

Thank you,
Dean Tlougan
